There are a lot of reasons why people fail to get clients on LinkedIn. But after studying 100’s of users that cumulatively had over 1 million first level connections I have found the one thing they are all missing is…
A Proven System!
Fact: Franchise businesses, which are very system driven, have a 95% success rate after 5 years.
Fact: Independent non franchise businesses have less than a 50% survival rate after 5 years. (Honestly I think its way less but who knows?)
So in my opinion the biggest reason why most people fail to get client on LinkedIn is the fact that they are missing an easy to implement system that allows them to generate a predictable and sustainable source of high quality leads in 30-60 minutes a day.
When I joined LinkedIn back in 2007 I was clueless. As a matter of fact I was a social media naysayer…big time!
I proceeded to throw as much mud up again the wall as I could in an effort to find out what worked and what didn’t. Not necessarily the best approach but I was blessed that what lacked in experience I made up for in numbers and consistency.
It didn’t take long for me to get my first 6 figure client and then dozens more followed as we refined our approach. Eventually LinkedIn became our go to strategy for getting new clients where we generated well over e$20 million in new business in very short order.
Of course my system has evolved considerably over the years but the key is simplicity and consistently so the foundation are the 3 C’s.
A quick summary of each is below as it’s way to much to try and unpack each of these individually.
Here’s My 3 C’s Framework!
Create – a compelling profile that speaks directly to your target market.
Connect – find and connect with your target market
Convert – engage and convert online conversations offline
